Aloo Gobi

An easy side dish for your roti, this bright cauliflower dish tastes even better than it looks.



What you'll need..
  • 1 Large potato cut into chunks
  • 2 Cups cauliflower florets
  • 1-2 Green chillies chopped
  • 1 Large tomato chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 Tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 Tsp fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 Tsp chilli powder
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro leaves chopped
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
How to..
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan and add the potatoes and cauliflower to it. 
  • Cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes stirring frequently and then cover will a lid and cook on medium heat for 5-8 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, green chillies, salt, turmeric, garam masala and chilli powder and mix well.
  • Cover and cook till the tomatoes get soft. By this time the cauliflower and potatoes should be fully cooked.
  • Remove from heat. Garnish with fresh cracked pepper and cilantro leaves. Serve hot.
