Raita

A cooling yogurt side dish, perfect with a spicy Indian meal.



What you'll need..
  • 1/2 Cup yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup peeled and chopped cucumber
  • 2 Tbsp chopped tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 Tsp fresh cracked pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Pinch kashmiri chilli powder
  • Pinch Chat masala
  • Salt to taste
How to..
  • Whip yogurt with 2 tbsp of water in a mixing bowl.
  • Add cucumber, tomato, onion, cilantro cracked pepper, cumin powder and salt and mix well.
  • Garnish with a pinch of kashmiri chilli powder and chat masala. Serve cold.
