Cauliflower and Potato with Ginger

An easy cauliflower dish that is coated in the goodness of ginger and cilantro. 


What you'll need..
  • 1 Medium potato, cut into chunks
  • 2 Cups cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 Tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp ginger, chilli and cilantro paste
  • 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 6-8 Curry leaves
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
How to..
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan and mustard, cumin seeds and curry leaves to it. Wait for them to splutter.
  • Add the potatoes and cauliflower and cook on high heat for 4-5 minutes stirring frequently and then cover will a lid and cook on medium heat for 5-8 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and the ginger, chilli, cilantro paste and mix well. Cover and cook for another 4-5 minutes till the cauliflower and potatoes are well cooked. Serve hot.
