This is the easiest fish dish I know to make and the tastiest too. My mum's recipe and my all time favorite.

- 4-5 White fish steaks (Pomfret, Tilapia or any of your favorite kind)
- 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/4 Tsp fresh cracked pepper
- Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
- Salt to taste
How to..
- Add salt to the fish steaks
- Mix together turmeric, chilli powder and pepper.
- Apply the spice rub evenly to all sides of the fish steaks.
- Heat oil in a non stick heavy bottom flat pan.
- Fry the fish on medium heat, flipping sides occasionally, till both the sides are brown and crispy. About 4-5 minutes each side.
- Garnish with lemon juice and cilantro leaves and serve hot.
