This is an easy and delicious dessert recipe. Adapted from Sanjeev Kapoor's recipes, it is perfect for your sugar craving.

What you'll need..
  • 1/4 Cup Sabudana (Tiny Tapioca/Sago pearls)
  • 4 Cups milk
  • 1 Pinch Kesar (Saffron)
  • 6-8 Almonds, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 5-6 Cardamom pods
How to..
  • Wash the sabudana pearls with a little water, drain and set aside in a dry bowl for about 30 minutes.
  • Heat milk and saffron in a non stick pan on low for 12-15 minutes till the milk thickens a little.
  • Then add the sabudana pearls and cardamom pods and cook on low for another 15 minutes till the pearls are fully cooked and the kheer thickened.
  • Now add the almonds and sugar and mix well. Cook for 3-5 minutes and serve either hot or cold.
