This quick recipe is the perfect side for all your indo-chinese preparations like Chilli chicken, Gobi manchurian or Veg Manchurian.

- 1 Cup rice
- 1/2 Cup shredded cabbage
- 1/3 Cup corn (Fresh or frozen)
- 1/3 Cup carrot cut into bits
- 1/3 Cup green beans, french cut
- 2 Green onions sliced
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Tsp fresh cracked black pepper
- 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 Tbsp Soya sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tsp Ajinomoto/Msg (Optional)
- Salt to taste
How to..
- Cook the rice with salt and set aside to cool.
- Heat 1 Tsp oil in a large wok. Crack the egg and scramble with a pinch of salt till it's well cooked. Set aside.
- In the same wok, heat the remaining oil. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for 10-12 seconds till the garlic gets fragrant.
- Add the cabbage, carrots, corn, beans and green onions and stir fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes stirring constantly.
- Add salt, pepper and ajinomoto and mix well.
- Add soya sauce, vinegar and then the cooked rice and mix well.
- Now mix in the scrambled egg and serve hot.
