This yummy mushroom dish is so easy to make, you can't go wrong. Adapted from "Best Ever Indian" by Parragon Books Ltd.

- 250 gm Button mushrooms cut in half or in thick slices
- 3 Tbsp oil
- 1 Small onion finely chopped
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 2 Tsp garlic paste
- 1 Tsp cumin powder
- 1 Tsp coriander powder
- 1 Tsp chilli powder
- 1 Tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 Tbsp chopped cilantro or chives
- Salt to taste
How to..
- Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add onions and chilli and cook for 4-5 mins till onions turn pink.
- Add garlic paste and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add cumin, coriander and chilli powder and cook for another minute.
- Add the mushrooms, salt and ketchup and mix well.
- Sprinkle 2 Tbsp water over the mushrooms and on low heat cover and cook for 8-10 minutes,stirring occasionally, till the sauce thickens.
- Mix in cilantro/chives and serve hot.
