  • 1 Small onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 Green chillies, slit in the center
  • 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 Pinch Hing (Asafoetida)
  • 1/2 Tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 Tsp coriander seeds
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
How to..
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan.
  • Add mustard, cumin and coriander seeds to it and wait for them to splutter.
  • Add the onions and green chillies. Fry for 3-4 minutes till the onions turn translucent.
  • Add turmeric powder and hing and mix well.
  • Add the chopped bhindi, mix well and cook for about 13-15 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • Add salt and black pepper and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and serve hot.
