Sweet Semiya

A quick recipe for when you are in the mood for a little sweet.

What you'll need..
  • 1 Cup roasted brown semiya (roasted brown vermicelli)
  • 4-5 Cardamom pods
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp oil
How to..
  • Heat oil in a non stick pan.
  • Slit the cardamom pods in the center and add them to the oil. Fry for 2 minutes till they get fragrant.
  • Add the roasted semiya and fry for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, till they get a little darker in color.
  • Now add 3/4 to 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of sugar and mix well. Continue stirring till all the water evaporates and the noodles start to seperate. Serve hot or cold.
